1 DAY INTENSIVE COURSES
The cost per day will be £120 incl VAT or if booking multiples of the above courses the price will be reduced to £100 incl VAT per course.To provisionally book a place on one or more of our 'ONE DAY INTENSIVE COURSES', simply send an email to bookings@janfennellthedoglistener.com including your full name, address and telephone number with your choice of date(s) of your courses, and enter in the subject box 'One Day Course' .
We will confirm your provisional booking by email and then send you, via email, a pre-course booklet, which includes directions and local recommended accommodation etc and an official booking form. Please return your booking form with payment in full within 14 days of receipt as we can not guarantee a place without first receiving both signed booking form and payment.

1 DAY COURSES

The total cost of the One Day Learning Experience 'Amichien Bonding in the Kennel Environment' including refreshments and lunch each day is £150.00 incl. vat per person, 'Human Communication', including refreshments and lunch each day is £200.00 incl. vat per person, both excluding accommodation. These Courses will ONLY be offered twice a year in the UK.
FOUNDATION COURSES
The 2-day Foundation Course gives a fascinating and practical introduction to the world of Dog Listening. Students will learn what makes a dog tick, understand exactly why dogs do what they do and discover precisely how to successfully solve problems.
The purpose of the foundation course is to create a deep understanding of the domestic dog. By looking at the principles of shaping positive behaviour, we share the secrets of getting the animal to want to work for us of its own free will, not because it has to.
We examine the psychology, behaviour patterns, instincts and values of the domestic dog. We show how, with this understanding, we are able to change undesirable behaviour the kind way. There will be comprehensive analysis of the core method that is 'Amichien TM Bonding': with examples of common problems and in-depth discussions on kind correction, examination of situations, behaviours and correction of undesirable behaviours.
This course is highly beneficial, not only to those who experience problems with their dogs, but for ALL dog owners and people who work with dogs. On the completion of the course trainees will receive a certificate, and above all the ability to appreciate 'man’s best friend' in an entirely different light.

ADVANCED COURSES
The 3-day Advanced Course gives dog owners and professionals an even better understanding of dog behaviour and the implementation of Amichien TM Bonding. You will progress through the dog's psychology in much more detail, plus gain valuable insight into the psyche of the human owners. The Advanced Course will take you further into the empathy and understanding of the everyday behavioural problems that may occur. You will cover the difficulties that owners may have; such as how to understand the process and ways of working through their traditional thinking and practice: you will develop an understanding of human psychology. Delegates must have completed the Jan Fennell Foundation Course in Canine Communication.
The 3 days are geared to give you more insight into this wonderful world of Canine Communication. Successful delegates will receive an 'Advanced Certificate of Canine Communication'. On successful completion of our questionnaire on day three you will receive an Advanced certificate and be considered for further training to enable you to become a Jan Fennell Dog Listener (see Graduate Course details below).
The books entitled "The Practical Dog Listener" and "The Seven Ages of Your Dog" by Jan Fennell are highly recommended reading before booking a course. Recommended listening subject Audio CD's as seen on our website.

Please note the cost of the 2 day Foundation Course is £400.00 inc VAT. The cost of the 3 day course is £700.00 inc VAT. This will include lunch and drinks throughout the day (but not accommodation). Availability is limited.
We will confirm your provisional booking and attach your pre course booklet which includes directions and local accommodation etc, and your booking forms by email (To help save the planet we do not send out printed hard copies) Please sign and return along with your £200.00 deposit . No bookings are guaranteed without receipt of both.
GRADUATE COURSES
For students who wish to start a new career as a Dog Listener and be recommended and guided by Jan Fennell and the Amichien TM team. Successful completion of the advanced course is essential. Graduate Courses are not bookable by the general public. The course is available on-line and run by highly trained Dog Listeners. |
