I bought this book because I was having terrible problems with my 4 yr old German Shepherd. From page one I was hooked. I totally understood and agreed with everything she had written. I too have always felt that there had to be another way of getting through to our canine companions. Since putting her teachings into practice I have seen an improvement in “Khan” and it only took a few days of “Calm and Consistent” (her watchwords) to see that it was going to work. We still have a lot of work to do with him but if this had not shown results the vet was already discussing the alternative, which was to have him destroyed. Basically, this book has saved Khan’s life. Well written, thought provoking and well worth buying. Angela Haldron
